Eric Liu
Born in Taiwan, Eric Hang-Yu Liu was a 2016 Fulbright fellow. Before exploring Gaga in Israel with the sponsorship of Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan, he trained with National Ballet School of Iceland. In New York he studied at Gelsey Kirkland Ballet Academy and Joffrey Ballet School. He has worked with ABT at the Metropolitan Opera House in Romeo and Juliet and performed works by Dwight Rhoden, Desmond Richardson, Merce Cunningham, Earl Mosley, Valerie Madonia, and others. Eric has presented his choreography at AAPI Festival (New York), Fertile Ground (Green Space, LIC), Joffrey Ballet School, Joffrey Concert Group, 456 Gallery, Tenri Art Gallery and others. In addition, Eric is also a model, contemporary dance choreographer, photographer, and Certified Pilates and yoga instructor.
